Updated Oct. 29 — The Oct. 30 Avicii concert has been cancelled due to weather concerns.
Refunds will automatically be issued to original ticket purchasers who purchased tickets through any Campus Box Office location. If you paid by check or cash, a check will be mailed to the address used on your ticket order. Credit cards and BUIDs will automatically be refunded.
Updated Oct. 1 — The concert by Avicii has been rescheduled for Oct. 30 in the Gerhard Fieldhouse. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show will start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets purchased for the Sept. 30 show will be honored for the Oct. 30 performance. Ticketholders unable to attend the Oct. 30 show may return their tickets to the campus box office for a full refund by Oct. 9 at 4 p.m. Refunds can be issued only to the original ticket purchaser. Ticketholders planning to attend the concert will be admitted with their current tickets. Additional tickets will go back on sale for the concert starting Oct. 10 at 11 a.m.
Tickets are available in person at several locations including the Barnes & Noble at Bucknell University bookstore in Lewisburg (box office hours: weekdays and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, 12:30 to 4 p.m.); the Campus Box Office in the Weis Center lobby (box office hours: Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.); and the CAPS Center Box Office, located on the ground floor of the Elaine Langone Center (box office hours: Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
Avicii's single "Bromance" (recorded under the pseudonym Tim Berg) has charted in the top 20 on the national single charts of Belgium, the Netherlands, and his native Sweden. A lyricized version, "Seek Bromance," charted on the UK Singles Chart and reached number one on the international Beatport chart. Other singles include "My Feelings for You" with Sebastien Drums, "Street Dancer" and "Tweet It," among others.
He also remixed Nadia Ali's classic single "Rapture" for her album, "Queen of Clubs Trilogy: Onyx Edition." In 2011, his collaboration track, "Sunshine," with David Guetta was nominated for a Grammy award under the category for Best Dance Recording.
In 2011, Avicii released "Levels" (sampling the song "Something's Got a Hold On Me" by Etta James), which reached the top 10 in Austria, Belgium, Bosnia, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Greece, India, Ireland, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, and topped the charts in Hungary, Norway and Sweden.
Earlier this year, Avicii's unsigned single "Last Dance" was previewed on Pete Tong's show on BBC Radio 1. At Ultra Music Festival 2012 he played a teaser of his remix of Ruth-Anne's "All You Need Is Love" as well as two new remixes, Madonna's "Girl Gone Wild" titled "Avicii vs. Madonna - Girl Gone Wild" and Avicii vs. Lenny Kravitz - Superlove.
Avicii recently released a new song after reaching two million followers on Facebook. This song, "2 Million" was put out as a free download on his official Soundcloud. Most recently, he was a featured performer Aug. 4 at Lollapalooza in Chicago's Grant Park.
