Bucknell University created a new, full time staff position, an Interpersonal Violence Prevention Coordinator, which is funded by our Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women Campus Grant. This staff position is a joint position within the Counseling & Student Development Center and the Women’s Resource Center in the Division of Student Affairs, with a direct supervisory reporting line to the Assistant Director, Coordinator of Outreach and Consultation Services, in the Counseling & Student Development Center.
This position assumes primary leadership across campus for coordinating and facilitating prevention education programs addressing sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking. This includes: providing training, coordination, and supervision of the Speak UP Bucknell peer education program; developing and implementing additional prevention education programming and materials; and partnering with various members of the campus community to provide prevention education and training for students, faculty, and staff.
