CS Bucknell Team Takes 1st Place

Sarah Storck, Karl Cronburg, and Ben Sokolowsky earned first place at the Wilkes University site of the Mid-Atlantic Region ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest, Nov. 5th, 2011. This year, Prof. Xiannong Meng advised three teams in the competition, continuing the tradition of Bucknell's participation started by Prof. Lea Wittie several years ago. Read more...

Hiro Maeda, BA '09 CS/Economics

Hiro Maeda, class of 2009, will be speaking at the TechCrunch Tokyo 2011 conference on Nov. 29th, 2011. Hiro earned a BA from Bucknell, having fulfilled the degree requirements of Economics and Computer Science. After having launched his own startup, Hiro returned to Japan to work with Open Network Lab, an incubator for new technology businesses. Read more...
