Summer Session Tuition, Housing & Meals
Summer Session 2024 tuition is $3,682 per full course.
The summer housing rate is $175 per week.
- Note: If you are a financial aid recipient, your financial aid funds may not be applicable to summer courses.
- Note: If you are a full-time student who plans to take fewer courses the following fall or spring semester because you will be taking summer session courses, be aware that your full-time tuition rate will remain the same for those semesters. It will not be reduced because you are taking fewer courses. Special permission from the associate dean of the student's college is required for enrolling in less than 4.0 credits per semester, and a student must carry a minimum of 3.0 credits per semester to maintain full-time status.
Tuition and Fee Payment
Tuition and fees will be billed before the start of classes. These charges must be paid by the due date to avoid late fees.
Only a percentage of tuition will be credited if a student withdraws between the first day of classes and the summer session midpoint. After this date, no credit will be issued.
Non-Bucknell Students
Any financial obligations are payable by the student and/or the parent/legal guardian of the student if the student is a minor. Please note that the failure of the student to successfully complete the course or withdraw from the course by University deadlines does not relieve the student/parent/guardian of the financial responsibility of any other costs incurred.
Summer Housing
Students must apply via myHOME and be approved to live on campus during the summer. For housing rates, dates and application information, see the Summer Housing page.
