Cathy Akers

Ms. Cathy A. Akers is a 1984 graduate of Montgomery Area High School and joined the Army Reserves in December 1983 as a 71L10 Clerical/Administrative Specialist and cross trained as a 75B10 Unit Clerk. Ms. Akers accepted an Active Guard Reserve (AGR) tour as a Specialist (E4) -75B20 from September 1986 and Retired Active Federal Service on 1 August 2006 as a 42A40 Human Resources Specialist, Sergeant First Class (E7).
 
Ms. Akers is the Bucknell Bison Battalion Human Resources representative and has been with Cadet Human Resources Command since November 2017. She provides administrative support to three Universities; Bucknell, Bloomsburg and Susquehanna. She serves as the key point of contact and continuity to the Professor of Military Science (PMS) regarding the administration of Cadets in the ROTC program. She is responsible for personnel accountability and record management, enrollment, records maintenance, contracting, Automated Cadet Actions (ACA), GoArmyEd (GAE), Personnel Security Investigation Portal (PSIP), Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), Defense Travel System (DTS), Department of the Army Mobilization Processing System (DAMPS), ROTC Blackboard, Cadet Summer Training (CST SharePoint) and iPERMS. Cadet Pay and travel, Commander's Monthly Pay Report in CCIMMs and any pay inquiries. I am only the 2nd Brigade Human Resource Assistant assigned to Bison Battalion.
