About Kate Bermingham

Professor Kate Bermingham is a political and feminist theorist and an assistant professor in Bucknell's Department of Political Science. Her expertise includes critical and democratic theory, reproductive justice, feminist critiques of the history of political thought, and the work of Hannah Arendt. Professor Bermingham holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in political science from the University of Notre Dame and a B.A., magna cum laude in government and English literature from Georgetown University. Her scholarship has been published in New German Critique and HA, the Journal of the Hannah Arendt Center for Politics and Humanities.
