Bucknell University Remote Lab

Application virtualization is the ability to run a software application on a desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone that would normally only be available on a computer in one of our labs across campus.

What makes application virtualization a great option is its ability to make virtualized applications available anytime, anywhere on campus. Virtualization also removes Windows and Mac device compatibility issues, and allows you to run graphic- or processor-intensive applications on a computer that would typically not be powerful enough. These applications are available through either AWS AppStream or the VMWare Horizon client.

If there is an application that you would like to have added to the Bucknell Remote Lab, please contact techdesk@bucknell.edu
