About Anna Fox-Holladay
Pronouns: she, her, hers
Hometown: Asheville, N.C.
Education: B.A. in Theatre Design & Technology, Hollins University
Favorite Spot on Campus: The Campus Theatre! One of the last single-screen art deco movie houses in the country, the Campus Theatre is by far one of my favorite things about living in Lewisburg. I visit frequently to see a wide selection of films (new and otherwise), events, and National Theatre Live screenings. Plus, Bucknell’s Film/Media Studies courses are screened weekly at the theatre in downtown Lewisburg throughout the academic year for free!
Top Tip for Applying to College: At Bucknell, we review applications by the college and by the major that you list in your application. For the most part, we don’t allow internal transfers from one college to the other once you’re here as a student which means the college that you’re admitted into will be the college that you end up majoring in. So we want you to be really mindful of what you’re listing on your application! I recommend taking a look at our course catalog, exploring our website, and ultimately choosing a major (or two) that you have a genuine interest in exploring. After you’ve decided on a major (or undecided), take some time to really illustrate your interest in both the major and Bucknell in your supplemental essay.
