About Vaji Farhadi

Dr. Vaji Farhadi Joined Bucknell University in Fall 2022. She specializes in resource allocation and optimization algorithms for control networks of the smart grid systems, the 5th and future generation cellular networks, as well as cloud and edge computing. Currently, she is working on resource allocation for distributed/decentralized Machine Learning. Vaji's peer-reviewed contributions have appeared in top-tier venues such as IEEE International Conference on Computer Communications (INFOCOM), IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking (ToN), and IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering (TNSE). She received a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University in May 2022 and an MSc. in Electrical Engineering from Yazd University in 2013. She was a teaching professor at Payam Noor University from 2014 to 2016.
