About Van Cyr

Education

  • The Pennsylvania State University, Ph.D.
  • University of Buffalo, The State University of New York, B.S.

Research Interests

Dynamical systems, ergodic theory, combinatorics. I am interested in thermodynamic formalism (especially of countable state Markov shifts exhibiting transience) and am also involved in projects related to multidimensional symbolic dynamics.
