UnHerd Series

The UnHerd Series is an educational outreach series sponsored by Multicultural Student Services. Now in its third year, UnHerd provides in-depth social justice training and workshops. The series name comes from the idea that in order to promote equity we must be willing to listen to the voices silenced by oppression and also break away from the mainstream narratives and dualities that keep us from making progress.

Each workshop will provide tangible skills, like how to respond when someone calls you out for being racist and how to effectively incorporate intersectional perspectives in your teaching. In order to do this, we need the make time to learn and practice. Please note that each session is 2 to 3 hours long so plan accordingly.
