The Teaching & Learning Center (TLC) works to develop thoughtful educators and successful students by supporting the implementation of a broad range of pedagogical practices and effective learning strategies.

For Students

We organize peer-facilitated study groups in many introductory classes, coordinate one-on-one peer tutoring in some math and science courses, offer individual academic coaching consultations with professional staff members and present workshops on best practices in student learning for student or class groups.

For Faculty & Staff

We run a respected, highly-attended series of weekly presentations, workshops and learning communities, geared to a variety of faculty needs and interests. These programs draw heavily from on-campus resources and frequently highlight local expertise. We place a special emphasis on those who are new to the University. Through our events, programs and services, we aim to ease the transition to Bucknell and to aid in the development of thoughtful educators.
