At Bucknell's Teaching & Learning Center (TLC), we provide resources and programming to develop thoughtful educators and successful learners.

We do this by supporting the implementation of a broad range of pedagogical practices and effective learning strategies. We have a purposeful commitment to learner-centered, active, inclusive, and reflective practices, and to modeling these values in our work.

For Students

We organize peer-facilitated study groups in many introductory classes, coordinate one-on-one peer tutoring in some math and science courses and present workshops on best practices in student learning for student or class groups.

For Faculty & Staff

We run a respected, highly-attended series of weekly presentations, workshops and learning communities, geared to a variety of faculty needs and interests. These programs draw heavily from on-campus resources and frequently highlight local expertise. We place a special emphasis on those who are new to the University. Through our events, programs and services, we aim to ease the transition to Bucknell and to aid in the development of thoughtful educators.
