For Students
The Teaching & Learning Center (TLC) is committed to student learning. We offer many different program options to help students succeed, including facilitated study groups, peer tutoring, individual academic coaching consultations, skills workshops and printable study aids.
Study Groups
Effective study groups have been demonstrated to provide meaningful and efficient mechanisms for learning. Formal groups of eight to 12 students led by trained peer facilitators are available for many introductory courses. The groups generally meet for 90 minutes each week throughout the semester.

Peer Tutoring
The TLC tutoring program offers one-on-one peer support for biology, physics, mathematics and chemistry. Any student registered in a course covered by the program is eligible to schedule multiple sessions per week with a trained peer tutor.
