UNIV 123 Global Ready, Career Ready

First Year Only

UNIV123: Global Ready, Career Ready is a first-year-only course (and transfer students in their first year) that combines the fundamentals of career decision-making and preparation with an immersive, week-long international experience during spring break. Together, these two elements prepare you not just for your first job, but for a lifetime of meaningful, adaptable and globally informed work.

Bucknell Global Summer

Summer after First Year, after Sophomore Year and after Junior Year.

Three-week study abroad programs during the summer, usually from mid-May to the first week of June. These short-term study abroad programs unlock opportunities to study outside the constraints of the typical academic year.

The offerings are changing every year;

Bucknell Global Internships

Students are eligible for Global Internships starting the Summer following their First-Year up to the fall of their Senior year.

Available in Sophomore Fall and Spring, Junior Fall and Spring and Senior Fall.

There are two main types of semester abroad experiences. Bucknell In programs and Bucknell Approved Programs.

"Bucknell In" programs are off-campus study programs created, organized and led by Bucknell to complement students' Bucknell experience. These programs offer Bucknell courses in a variety of disciplines and locations around the world, merging the abroad experience with the Bucknell curriculum.
