In 1977, an iconic building in New York City was completed, and shortly after being occupied, it was self-diagnosed by the structural engineer of record as being vulnerable to local hurricanes. In addition to how this story played out, Professor Ron Ziemian, civil & environmental engineering, will discuss the ethical obligations of all involved. Hard hats optional for this live (not to be recorded) Bucknell 360° webinar.
2020 has been a tumultuous year for many. Mark "Hutch" Hutchinson from Bucknell's Theatre and Dance Department led the Arts First participants through a guided meditation to start their Bucknell experience. He's going to share that meditation along with reflections on the semester and how it has impacted students.
