  • Slavery, Abolition and Social Justice 1490-2007 includes books, pamphlets, periodicals and broadsides addressing 19th and early 20th century political, social and gender issues, religion, race, education, employment, marriage, sexuality, health and family life.
  • Everyday Life of Women in America (1800-1920) is an unparalleled resource for the study of American social, cultural and popular history, providing access to rare primary source material from the Sallie Bingham Center for Women’s History, Duke University and the New York Public Library.
  • The American West includes a mixture of original manuscripts, maps, ephemeral material and rare printed sources from the Everett D. Graff Collection at the Newberry Library in Chicago.
  • The First World War includes a wealth of primary source material about the First World War, from personal narratives and printed books to military files, propaganda pamphlets and visual documents.   • Defining Gender, 1450–1910 offers a wide range of original sources including ephemera, pamphlets, commonplace books, diaries, periodicals, letters, ledgers, manuscript journals, poetry, receipt books and conduct and advice literature.
  • Foreign Office Files for India, Pakistan and Afghanistan consists of three collections of the British Government's files on the countries of South Asia from shortly before Indian partition and independence up to 1980.
  • Global Commodities provides visual, manuscript and printed materials to explore the history of 15 major commodities, and to examine the ways that these have changed the world.   • Popular Culture in Britain and America, 1950–1975 includes a collection of manuscripts, ephemera, photos, video and other archival material documents popular culture in Britain and America from 1950 – 1975.
  • Travel Writing, Spectacle and World History includes accounts written by women of their travels across the globe from the early 19th century to the late 20th century. Materials include manuscripts, diaries, correspondence drawings and guidebooks.
  • Virginia Company Archives is a source for the study of the Atlantic World and Early Colonial period that documents trade between Britain and America as well as the economic development of Virginia as seen through the papers of the Virginia Company of London, 1606–1624.
