Black Moshannon Cabin Retreat

Challenge Level: light

The cabins at Black Moshannon are located about 1.5 hours west of Bucknell’s campus in scenic central Pennsylvania. Black Moshannon State Park covers 3,394 acres of forests and wetlands and conserves unique, natural environments. More than 43,000 acres of the Moshannon State Forest surround the park and help create a remote and wild setting that provides recreational opportunities in all seasons. The cabins are near the Black Moshannon Laker and come furnished with beds with mattresses, a bathroom with shower, heat, refrigerator, stove, table and chairs. This is an excellent trip option for those who love the outdoors, but might not be as interested in sleeping there.
