Cook Forest Cabin Retreat
Challenge Level: light
The cabins at Cook Forest are located about three hours west of Bucknell’s campus in scenic northwestern Pennsylvania. Known for its stands of old-growth forest, the state park features towering white pines and hemlocks and a scenic 13-mile stretch of the Clarion River, and is designated as a National Natural Landmark. The cabins are right along the water and come furnished with beds with mattresses, heat, refrigerator, stove, table and chairs. This is an excellent trip option for those who love the outdoors, but might not be as interested in sleeping there.
How to Prepare
This trip requires minimal experience in the outdoors and is a great option for most abilities. Participants can expect opportunities for hiking and water-based activities.
