Liability Insurance

All conference groups using Bucknell's facilities must agree to accept responsibility for any injury to person or property resulting therefrom and file a certificate of liability insurance clearly indicating that the coverage extends to use of Bucknell's facilities on the time(s) and date(s) of scheduled event(s). The producer, insured and certificate holder must be identified on the certificate.

Coverage Minimums

The University requires all of the following:

  • A minimum limit of $2,000,000 per occurrence for general liability.
  • A minimum limit of $4,000,000 general aggregate liability.
  • A minimum limit of $2,000,000 per occurrence for sexual abuse/molestation covering the event.
  • Bucknell University must be named as additional insured.

This policy will be primary to any other coverage maintained by the additional insured when the sole negligence of the insured results in litigation in which the additional insured is also named as defendant. The additional insured will be provided with legal defense in accordance with the terms of this policy.

The certificate must be completed, signed by your agent and returned to the Office of Events Management at least weeks prior to the arrival of the group.
