Weis Center Atrium

Las Áñez is a twin-sister duo combining Colombian traditional and folk with pop and electronic music. The music of the Áñez twins is designed to be performed live with a loop pedal and small instruments. The duo’s concerts include songs from their four award-winning albums, which have captivated audiences in 10 countries across the Americas and Europe with their unique blend of folklore and the avant-garde.

The sisters, Juanita and Valentina Áñez Rothmann, sing on all their songs, half of which are composed and arranged by each of them, and they are the producers of their first three albums. Juanita Áñez Rothmann plays the cuatro and percussion, and Valentina Áñez Rothmann is a pianist and percussionist
