Jewish Life at Bucknell

Berelson Center for Jewish Life

Exterior of Berelson Center for Jewish Life

The Berelson Center is the heart of Jewish life at Bucknell. We offer programs that affirm and celebrate Jewish life and contribute to the growth, enrichment and education of the Bucknell community. The center is home to the Office of the Rabbi and Bucknell's student-run Hillel, as well as both a kosher kitchen and a vegetarian kitchen for student use.

About Us

The door is always open at the Berelson Center. We strive to create an inclusive, pluralistic Jewish community on campus. Join us for Shabbat dinner or eat in our Sukkah, invite your friends to watch a game or a movie here, or get some quiet study time in our library. Our two kitchens — including a separate, certified-kosher kitchen — are inviting, open and stocked. This is your "home away from home." You can always stop in to find a friendly smile, great snacks and a listening ear.
