London Calling: Bucknell Students Live Like Locals During Semester Abroad

Want to learn about the rich traditions of London theatre from experts and see live performances on the city's world-famous stages? You can. In the Bucknell in London program, students from across the University take a semester of humanities and social science courses taught by Bucknell faculty and specially tailored to the location. The program takes full advantage of its place in the heart of one of the world's most cosmopolitan cities, with courses such as the History of London and the Political Economy of the European Union.

"London has everything to offer if you're into the arts, if you're into science," said Maureen Maclean '19, a geography major. "Being able to experience it from an academic point of view but also by living there, I got to experience the culture and what it's like to live as a Londoner."
