Parents Association

All parents are automatically members of the Bucknell University Parents Association and are invited to get involved in the life of the University by participating in campus and regional programs. There are no dues. Membership includes:

  • Monthly email newsletter.
  • Invitations to Bucknell Club events.

Parents Association Board of Directors

The Bucknell University Parents Association Board of Directors is the governing body of the Parents Association. Representing around 7,000 parents, Bucknell's parents board works on behalf of the University and parents to enhance our students' educational experience. Board membership comprises around 80 parents representing first-year to senior classes.

Application Process

  1. Applications will be accepted from June 1, 2022 - Jan. 15, 2023, for the next Board term beginning in April 2023.
  2. Parents of first-year students and sophomores may apply by submitting this application form during the fall semester.
  3. Applications are reviewed by the membership committee each February. We accept applications from parents of first-year and sophomore students.

Parents are notified of their application outcome early March. Of the approximately 80 applications we receive, about 24 parents are invited to join.
