What is the Common Data Set?
In 1997, the Common Data Set (CDS) was created in response to increasing requests for data from colleges and universities. The CDS is a means for colleges and universities to collect and report comparable data, using standardized definitions, to higher education data providers and publishers.
Data sets from the last four academic years can be found below. Older data can be obtained by contacting Laura Winger at email@example.com.
