On Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs in conjunction with IFC and Panhellenic began a new tradition to welcome new members into the Greek-letter community — the Fraternity and Sorority Welcome Dinner.
IFC, Panhellenic and Kappa Delta Rho held a Twisted 5K and Obstacle Course Run for members of the Bucknell community to raise money for the B+ Foundation which helps fight childhood cancer. Over 200 chapter members participated and raised over $12,000.
The event was organized by Jeremy van de Rijn '15 and Ally Flessel '15.
The Panhellenic Council, in partnership with our eight sororities took a stand against sexual assault and sexual violence by participating in the national No More Campaign.
All women on campus, including faculty and staff were offered a free No More t-shirt to wear during national domestic violence week.
Representatives from all 20 chapters worked together to host the second annual Go Greek event which featured a live band, student food favorites such as mac and cheese, chicken fingers and fried oreos, a dunking book and tie dying.
Each organization displayed chapter memorabilia and spoke to potential new members about their chapters.
