Bucknell Student Health (BSH) offers a wide range of on-site care by appointment or walk-in to get students back on their feet fast and help them meet their health goals. (Walk-in visits are limited and will be evaluated for acuity and medical necessity. Scheduling an appointment is recommended.) Services include treatment for routine illnesses and injuries, gynecology visits, drug and alcohol counseling, travel medicine, and campus outreach and education.

Should you be unable to attend your scheduled appointment at Student Health, please be courteous to your fellow students and our staff by calling 570.577.1401 to cancel the appointment.

Medical Record Requirement

All incoming students are required to submit a Medical Record Form to Bucknell Student Health prior to arrival on campus.

A physical exam is part of this requirement, so please schedule an appointment with a health practitioner as soon as possible to ensure your form is completed and returned to us by June 15.

BSH is a partnership of Bucknell, Evangelical Hospital in Lewisburg, Pa. and Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa. - two well-respected healthcare organizations near campus. Through this partnership, students can meet with specialists and take advantage of other health resources at Geisinger and Evangelical. And, in case of emergency, students have access to emergency services in Lewisburg, or, if necessary, via Geisinger's LifeFlight in Danville.

BSH offers same-day weekend appointments for acute and urgent illnesses and injuries.

You should arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. Remember to bring your insurance card and photo ID to all student health visits.

Students can make appointments with a nurse practitioner for women's health or a clinical dietitian, as well as take advantage of travel physicals.
