About DCDS
The Bucknell Hub for Data Science & AI
The Dominguez Center for Data Science (DCDS) helps all Bucknellians to adopt new techniques, data and software into their studies, work and research. By fostering a community of data-informed problem-solvers, the DCDS advances on-going research, sparks new discoveries and better prepares our students to be data leaders in their fields.
Advisory Board
The DCDS Advisory Board, composed of engaged alumni, parents and donors, helps shape the center's strategic direction and build out its off-campus network. The board is a critical partner in our success as their guidance ensures the center remains at the forefront of the rapidly evolving fields of data science and AI.
Leadership Team
The DCDS Leadership Team includes the director, faculty fellows and staff fellows. It is the main decision-making body of the center, tasked with organizing data and AI events, leading workshops and supporting center initiatives.
Steering Committee
To ensure DCDS has a broad impact on the many campus constituents, the DCDS Steering Committee includes faculty, staff and students from across the campus. The steering committee assists with center programming and campus engagement.
Student Liaisons
The DCDS Student Liaisons serve as a communication link between students and the other DCDS committees. Their role is to gather student feedback, share DCDS activities with their peers, and suggest new initiatives related to data science and AI.
