About DCDS

The Bucknell Hub for Data Science & AI

The Dominguez Center for Data Science (DCDS) helps all Bucknellians to adopt new techniques, data and software into their studies, work and research. By fostering a community of data-informed problem-solvers, the DCDS advances on-going research, sparks new discoveries and better prepares our students to be data leaders in their fields.

Advisory Board

The DCDS Advisory Board, composed of engaged alumni, parents and donors, helps shape the center's strategic direction and build out its off-campus network. The board is a critical partner in our success as their guidance ensures the center remains at the forefront of the rapidly evolving fields of data science and AI.

Affiliates and Steering Committee

The DCDS Affiliates and Steering Committee help strengthen the center's interdisciplinary and cross-campus mission by bringing together Bucknell faculty and staff who have interest and expertise in data science. Affiliates contribute from their area of specialty into a diverse and collaborative ecosystem that supports the Bucknell community. They serve renewable two-year terms, with a call for new affiliates each fall. The Steering Committee assists with center programming and engagement, maintaining a focus on the broad impact of the center on all Bucknellians. Together, these groups ensure the DCDS remains a dynamic and relevant resource for the entire campus.
