Rooke Chapel Ringers

The Bucknell University Rooke Chapel Ringers Handbell Choir consists of 14-18 members who are selected by audition and who represent diverse major fields of study, including the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, business administration, education and engineering. The Ringers are one of the oldest and most prestigious collegiate handbell ensembles in the United States. As their name implies, the group performs several times per year in Bucknell chapel services. In addition, they perform concerts in local venues and churches, tour annually to the hometowns of the group’s senior members, and appear at regional and national handbell festivals. They are perhaps best-known for their role as a featured ensemble in Bucknell’s own Christmas Candlelight Services every year in December.
