Students may make changes to their schedules by dropping classes and adding classes with open spaces without permission through the first week of classes. Instructor permission is required for closed courses and all courses during the second week of classes. See Course Information for available courses.
All schedule changes must be processed before 4:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2023.
Undergraduate Online Drop/Add
8:30 a.m. Jan. 11 – 11:59 p.m. Jan. 23
Starting at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, and continuing through 11:59 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, undergraduate students will be able to add open courses online in Banner Self-Service. Registration pins are not required. Access to closed courses will require instructor permission. Electronic overrides may be obtained by sending your BUID number to the faculty member attached to the course. Email permission can be forwarded to email@example.com.
Students are strongly encouraged to complete their course changes online prior to the Jan. 23 deadline.
Starting Jan. 24: In-person Registration With Instructor Permission Required

Starting Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023, all course additions require instructor permission. Please bring your completed drop/add Form along with all required permissions/signatures to one of the registration windows in Marts Hall.

- If you are dropping below 4 credits, you must secure permission from your adviser and associate dean for a course underload.
- If you are going above 4.75 credits, you must secure permission from your adviser and associate dean for a course overload.
