Register for Summer Session

To register for Summer Session, complete the appropriate Course Registration Form below by the first day of classes (June 14 or July 5, depending on the course).

You may register for up to two Summer Session course credits (some half-credit courses are available). Please review the registration limits and other information below before registering. 

Please note that you must be on campus to take courses offered in person. There is no remote option for these classes.

Please select the registration form that applies to you from the list below. The deadline to submit the registration form is the first day of classes (June 14 or July 5, depending on the course).

Registration Limits

  • Summer courses designated as permission (P) courses require permission from the course instructor prior to enrollment.
  • The maximum course load during the Summer Session is two full courses or one full course and two half courses.
  • Only graduate students may register for 600-level courses.
  • Students must be on campus to take courses offered in person. There is no remote option for these classes.

Note: Many departments will arrange independent study whether or not such courses are listed in the Course Catalog. Class hours for all independent study courses will be arranged by the instructor.

Tuition and Fee Payment

Tuition and fees will be billed before the start of classes. These charges must be paid by the due date to avoid late fees. 

Only a percentage of tuition will be credited if a student withdraws between the first day of classes and the summer session mid-point. After this date, no credit will be issued.
