Self-guided Campus Tour
You've found the companion website for Bucknell University's Self-guided Tour. The audio narration below is designed to be enjoyed alongside the Self-guided Tour booklet available at our Office of Admissions.
If you're on campus and would like to pick up the booklet, stop by Freas Hall on Dent Drive and request a copy at the Office of Admissions front desk. If the office is closed, booklets can be found just inside the vestibule to Freas Hall. You can also find a digital version of the booklet below.
We hope you enjoy this self-guided tour, which we see as the perfect metaphor for the Bucknell experience. We give you the tools and the support you need to explore whatever interests you most.
Fee Waivers for Visitors
Students can also receive a Bucknell fee waiver by visiting campus. Qualifying visits include attending a:
- Campus Visit
- Open House
- College Admissions Workshop(for Bucknell alumni, faculty and staff families)
- Self-Guided Tour (If you complete our self-guided tour while on campus, please stop by the Office of Admissions to fill out an inquiry card in order to qualify for an application fee waiver.)

To redeem your Bucknell fee waiver simply choose "Bucknell Fee Waiver" in the Bucknell Member Section of the Common Application or the Coalition Application (powered by Scoir). If you forgot to select "Bucknell Fee Waiver" and paid a fee at the time of application submission, please reach out to admissions@bucknell.edu to alert our team and we will review your request for a refund.
Before You Begin
- The tour starts outside Freas Hall (1 Dent Drive) and includes eight stops.
- The route is paved, just under a mile in length and includes one moderately steep downhill section. (To avoid the hill, skip Stop 6.)
- The accompanying audio narration totals about 20 minutes.
