Alcohol & Other Drug Support

Bucknell University has an Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Specialist within the Division of Student Affairs, specifically in the Health and Wellness Pillar. We provide support and guidance to students who have questions or concerns about alcohol or other drug use — whether it relates to their own experiences or those of a friend.

What we offer

  • One-on-One Support: A safe, judgment-free space to talk about alcohol or drug use.
  • Referrals & Resources: Guidance to on-campus and community services for additional support.
  • Education & Outreach: Programs, workshops, and presentations designed to help students make informed decisions.
  • Community Liaison: Serves as Bucknell's connection to local Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Al-Anon groups, ensuring students have access to community-based resources.

Why students connect

  • Conversations are centered on student well-being.
  • Support is available whether you're looking for information, resources, or just someone to listen.
  • No concern is too big or too small — we are here to help you navigate challenges and take positive steps forward.
