When Quinn Grossman '19 steps into his General Chemistry lab, he knows exactly what he needs to do. That's because the neuroscience major from Sewell, N.J., has been there before — not in real life, but in virtual reality.
In order to better prepare students to succeed in their experiments, instructors in this foundational chemistry course developed a series of VR videos, allowing their students to watch the experiments they'll perform at a virtual lab bench before they get there in real life. Watch Grossman and his classmates take part in these experiments — real and simulated — in this Cool Classes video.
