At a Bucknell Open House, you'll spend a day discovering all that makes Bucknell unique. Tour our campus, meet our students and learn how to navigate the application process.

Our Open Houses are designed for prospective students interested in any of our three colleges: Arts & Sciences, Engineering and the Freeman College of Management.

Bring your questions, and we'll bring our teams from academics, financial aid and admissions to answer them.

Event Options

Fall Open House

Best suited for high school seniors, this experience invites you to tour our state-of-the-art facilities, gain an inside view of academic programs, and talk with members of Bucknell's admissions and financial aid teams.

When: Sept. 12, Oct. 3, and Oct. 24, 2026*

*Registration opens in the fall.

February Open House

This experience is designed for high school freshmen, sophomores and juniors who are exploring their college options. Learn more about Bucknell's beautiful campus, talk with faculty and students, and gain essential advice about applying to college and financing your education.

Application Fee Waivers for Visitors

Students who participate in certain in-person visit options are eligible for an application fee waiver.

Qualifying visits include attending a:
- Campus Visit
- Open House
- College Admissions Workshop
  (for Bucknell alumni, faculty and staff families)
- Self-Guided Tour (If you complete our self-guided tour while on campus, please stop by the Office of Admissions to fill out an inquiry card in order to qualify for an application fee waiver.)
Fee waivers also apply to students who apply for and attend a:
Fee waivers are applied once the visit is complete, and students will receive instructions for how to redeem the offer via email. Students must complete their visit before submitting their application. Bucknell is unable to refund application fees for students who visit and receive a fee waiver after applying.
