Financial Aid: Transfer Students

Deadline for Fall: March 15

Deadline for Spring: Nov. 1

Financial aid for transfer students is available, though Bucknell aid is limited.

Admitted transfer students who have completed their financial aid applications will be notified of their financial aid eligibility before the enrollment deposit is due.

Note: It is extremely rare that international transfer students are eligible to receive financial aid.

To apply for financial aid, students transferring to Bucknell University must:

  1. Complete the 2020-21 College Scholarship Service (CSS) PROFILE at student.collegeboard.org/profile. CSS code: 2050
  2. Complete the 2020-21 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.ed.gov (required for all federal aid programs such as Federal Pell Grant, Federal Direct Loans and Federal Work-study). FAFSA code: 003238
  3. Complete the Bucknell University Non-custodial Parent Form if biological parents are separated/divorced.
  4. Submit to Bucknell's Office of Financial Aid a signed copy of all pages and schedules of your parents' 2018 federal tax return (only federal — not state or local) and copies of parents' W-2 forms from 2018.
  5. If you are admitted and decide to enroll, we will notify you by email if other tax or verification documents are required.
  6. Admitted transfer students who have completed their financial aid applications will be notified of their financial aid eligibility before the enrollment deposit is due.
