Bucknell enrolls students from all world regions and countries and from all types of socioeconomic backgrounds. Some of our international students receive financial support from their families and sponsors. Others rely on funds from Bucknell for part of their tuition, room and board.
Bucknell's international student comprehensive fee for the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters is $82,570.
This fee includes tuition, room, board, insurance, student activity fee, an estimated cost for books, supplies and extra spending money. (It does not include travel.)
A college education is an important investment in your future, but we understand that not every family has sufficient funding to attend Bucknell. We do have some scholarships for international students. These scholarships, however, are limited and competitive.
The following items are included in the educational expense budget (Title IV and Bucknell programs) for a resident, full-time undergraduate student at Bucknell University for the 2022-23 academic year.
*This amount represents the costs a student must certify in order for Bucknell to issue the immigration document. It does not include expenses for travel.
Due to yearly increases in tuition and fees, we recommend that students increase the amount of family support by an estimated 3.5% for each year of study. In order to apply for aid, students must submit a certified original bank statement (including U.S. dollar amount) and complete the Bucknell University International Student Financial Aid Application. (See a sample bank statement here.)
The CSS PROFILE is not required for international students, with the exception of Canadian students, who must submit both the ISFAA as well as the CSS PROFILE.
Even if you do not plan to apply for financial aid, you must complete and submit the Confidential Statement of Finances.
Please note that financial aid award letters are not mailed. They are available electronically with the online admit letter.
