Public Safety is committed to maintaining a safe and secure campus. In an effort to accomplish this goal we provide a variety of training materials, classes and seminars upon request. Topics include self-defense, CPR and first aid, active shooter response, situational awareness and de-escaltion techniques.

Training can be requested by individual students and employees as well as by campus entities, including student clubs and organizations, offices and departments. All programs can be tailored to the needs of the requesting organization and the time available for the training. All programs are offered free of charge to students and employees with the exception of CPR training, which requires a certification fee from the American Heart Association.

To request and begin arranging a training opportunity, or for more information, please contact Public Safety at
