CLIMBucknell Challenge Course
The CLIMBucknell Challenge Course at the Cowan Forrest Brown Conference Center features low and high elements, a climbing tower and a zip line. The course is an educational space designed to teach students, faculty, staff and outside groups leadership, group dynamics, risk assessment, safety and, most importantly, something about themselves.
You must make a reservation to use the course. We strongly recommend reservations be made a month in advance in order to arrange for facilitators and to allow time for release forms to be completed by each of the participants.
CLIMBucknell ParticipantFees
For Bucknell Students (eight person minimum):
Cost for 1-2 hour workshop: $8.00 per hour, per person
Cost for 3-5 hours: $20.00 per person
Cost for 6-8 hours: $35.00 per person
For Bucknell Faculty and Staff (eight person minimum):
Cost for 1-2 hour workshop: $12.00 per hour, per person
Cost for 3-5 hours: $25.00 per person
Cost for 6-8 hours: $40.00 per person
Non- University Groups:
For Non-University Groups we use a sliding scale fee structure. The costs are based on your group's needs. hours on the course and other factors. We will create your programs and then discuss fees upon the completion of the curriculum.
Insurance Obligations for Non-University Groups
All groups using Bucknell's facilities must agree to accept responsibility for injury to person or property resulting there from and file a certificate of liability insurance clearly indicating that the coverage extends to the use of this facility on the times and dates of a scheduled event. The University requires a minimum limit of $5,000,000 per occurrence for public liability. Further, it is required that Bucknell University will be named as additional insured. This policy will be primary to any other coverage. Satisfactory proof of insurance must be provided to the office of Events Management no later than two weeks prior to the scheduled event.
