The Bucknell Arts Council (BAC) promotes the collaborative advancement and enhancement of the arts at Bucknell.

The BAC is a coalition of the following arts departments and centers: the Department of Art & Art History; the Campus Theatre; the creative writing and film/media studies programs of the Department of English; Griot Institute for the Study of Black Lives & Culture; the Department of Music; the Samek Art Museum; the Stadler Center for Poetry & Literary Arts; the Department of Theatre & Dance; the Weis Center for the Performing Arts; the University arts coordinator; and the associate dean of arts & humanities.

Student Arts & Creativity Grants

Thanks to generous donor support, the BAC offers grants designed to support students who wish to pursue serious arts projects or research. Students in any academic discipline are eligible for this funding. The BAC reviews grant applications on a rolling basis during the academic year.

Faculty Grants

The BAC supports arts-related teaching and research on the part of faculty through High-Impact Arts Teaching and Research Grants. Applications are due in early fall. Please see the guidelines for specific dates.
