About Public Safety

Bucknell Public Safety includes a team of sworn law enforcement officers who exercise law enforcement authority within the geographic boundaries of campus and adjacent properties and can respond to mutual aid requests from area law enforcement departments. As a Municipal Police Officers Training and Education-recognized Act 120 police agency, Bucknell sworn police officers have the same authority and powers as any state-certified police officer working for a municipal agency.

In addition to keeping the campus community safe, we seek to proactively build relationships with students, faculty and staff.

There are a number of exciting things happening with Public Safety, and this page will be routinely updated with information and resources.

As you get to know the public servants who work for you, we hope you'll take the time to say "Hi" and introduce yourself to us on campus.
