Pre-Orientation & Orientation Programs
Settle into college life, connect with classmates and enhance your leadership skills in one of several optional programs designed to jump-start your Bucknell experience.
Pre-Orientation: Begins Friday, Aug. 14
Our on-campus Orientation program focuses on academic and social expectations, learning University traditions, meeting new classmates and, of course, fun.
Orientation: Begins Wednesday, Aug. 19
'Bucknell Bound' Yard Sign
Admission into Bucknell is good news worth sharing. Tell the neighborhood with your very own "Bucknell Bound" sign for your front yard. Simply download the file and take it to any local printer. The sign (24 inches wide by 18 inches tall) is designed to fit the specs for a standard yard sign.

Live and Learn in the Residential Colleges
Sign up when you choose your first-semester courses.
Residential Colleges are themed living-learning communities for first-year students.They're tied to a first-semester class, so you'll get to live and learn with students who share your interests.
Residential Colleges are optional and open to all students. You can sign up to join whichever Residential College interests you, regardless of what you plan to major in.
Global & Off-campus Education
Study Abroad
There's no substitute for the experience of exploring new places, meeting new people and the learning that happens through those encounters.
Through our "Bucknell In" programs, exchanges and more than 450 partner programs, students can travel and explore the world around them while keeping their graduation requirements on track.
