Powell is a professional storyteller and collector of international folklore, particularly Celtic tales and speechways. She also works as an announcer for WVIA, the local public radio affiliate.

Seminar for Younger Poets

We are pleased to announce K.A. Hays as the new director of the Bucknell Seminar for Younger Poets. We are grateful to outgoing director G.C. Waldrep for his years of service to the program.

Held for three weeks in June, the Seminar provides an extended opportunity for undergraduate poets to write and to be guided by established poets.
