  Software engineering is the application of engineering principles and techniques to the design, development, testing and maintenance of large software systems. In courses like

  you'll collaborate with your peers in group software engineering projects, while learning multiple programming languages, and how to use standard collaboration tools and techniques like Git and scrum. 

  Senior Design

  In your senior year, you'll have the opportunity to work on a major software engineering project for a real-world client. 

  You'll collaborate with the client, iterating on the product, designing, implementing, testing and collecting feedback. The final product includes detailed technical and user manuals, and you'll share your design process in a public presentation.
