Management Merit Scholars Program

Among Bucknell's most prestigious scholarships, the Management Merit Scholars Program recognizes high-achieving, intellectually curious students majoring within the Freeman College of Management. Recipients participate in real-world learning through internships, mentorship and cohort-based experiences. Financial Need is not a requirement and recipients will receive notifications along with their admissions

The Award

  • A $40,000 annual merit scholarship.
  • Up to $5,000 of funding for one mentored summer internship experience before senior year, supported by the Management Scholars Endowment.
  • A mentorship match that aligns with students' professional aspirations, with a focus on National Association of Colleges and Employers career readiness competencies.
  • Access to cohort-based activities throughout their four years at Bucknell.
     

How to Apply

  • Complete your Common Application or Coalition Application by Nov. 1 for Early Decision I or Jan. 10 for Early Decision II and Regular Decision.
  • There is no additional application required for this scholarship.

Scholarship Recipient Participation Expectations

This scholarship is renewable annually if the participation expectations outlined below are met. Merit Scholarship awards do not increase in subsequent years.

  • Major within the Freeman College of Management*
  • Maintain a minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA (overall and within the Freeman College of Management)
  • Maintain full-time enrollment

*Unless a transfer to another Bucknell college and its merit scholarship program is approved by the Dean's Office of that college.

Participation in cohort-based activities is strongly encouraged.
