Tools for Tomorrow Founder's Scholarship
Beginning with the Class of 2029, the Tools for Tomorrow Founder's Scholarship is available for Home Depot associates and their dependents. Endowed by the generous support of Ken '57, P'83 and Elaine Langone P'83, this scholarship covers annual tuition, fees, room and board for up to four incoming, first-year students.
Financial need is not a requirement, and recipients will be notified along with their admission decision. This scholarship is subject to Bucknell's total gift aid policy.
The Award
A scholarship covering room, board, tuition and fees for four years. More information about Bucknell's tuition, fees and financial aid can be found here.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this scholarship, all applicants must:
- Be a Home Depot associate, or the child or grandchild of an associate. The associate must have at least two years of employment with Home Depot as a non-officer (director or below).
- Complete an application using either the Coalition Application (powered by Scoir) or the Common Application by the application deadline for their admission round:
- Nov. 1 for Early Decision I
- Jan 10 for Early Decision II and Regular Decision
- Complete the scholarship application and verify employment of associate with Home Depot.
- Be accepted to Bucknell University for full-time fall enrollment as a first-year student
How to Apply
- Complete your Common Application or Coalition Application by Nov. 1 for Early Decision I or Jan. 10 for Early Decision II and Regular Decision.
- Complete the scholarship application (includes a one time employment verification process for the Home Depot associate applicant or relative).
Recipient Participation Expectations
This scholarship is renewable annually as long as the recipient remains in good academic standing.
